For Home Inspectors in NJIf you are a home inspector in many states, including NJ, it is almost mandatory that you offer Radon measurement as a service to your clients. To do this in NJ, you must be licensed by NJ as a Radon Measurement Technician, and you must be affiliated with a NJ-licensed measurement business such as Radiation Data.We are licensed in New Jersey as a Radon Measurement Business and a Radon Measurement Laboratory. As such, we serve more than 400 NJ Home Inspectors with radon measurement kits for their use. We do all of the state reporting for these inspectors. Our lab is licensed and listed with a variety of state and national organizations. Our regular state-tested accuracy is excellent.
As the largest Radon measurement business in NJ, we provide Radon test kits for very low prices and our test analyses are prompt and accurate. Our reports are returned by mail, phone, fax or a combination of these at no extra charge. Special services, including weekend processing, are available upon request. Our Radon Measurement Specialists are always available for phone consultation with you, your clients, or other interested parties such as realtors or attorneys.
Our professional staff provides Radon instruction for anyone seeking a state license as a Radon Measurement Technician, and for licensed professionals needing continuing education credits. We also provide general radon advice for licensees, for homeowners, realtors and clients of home inspectors, usually at no cost. Email or call us (1-800-325-3579) for more details or for sample Radon test kits.
For home inspectors in NJ, we provide prepaid first-class US Postal Service mailers. Our nominal charges include all services: postage for return to our lab and for written reports, full lab analysis, phoned or faxed report, and professional consultation if needed.
Radon Measurement Licensing in NJNew Jersey strictly regulates those who offer radon measurement, requiring state licensing as a Radon Measurement Technician. Obtaining a license requires a 16-hour training course, which we offer to our dealers. The course is a NJ requirement for your license, and our course prepares you for the state licensing exam. Our continuing education courses are either by attendance in Rocky Hill, or by correspondence course. Our computerized system ensures that you receive timely reminders when your radon license renewal or continuing credit requirements are due.
You may register for and take our four-hour Continuing Education Course online, or receive it by mail by calling 1-800-325-3579.
Radon Testing for Home Inspectors Outside of NJRadon testing has become important in home inspection in most states. We are the largest Radon Measurement Business in NJ, and we have built up a large customer following in most of the 48 continental states. We offer prepaid overnight delivery service at a very special price. With our 2-6 day test kits, you can give unusually good service to your clients. For instance:
If you place a test on a Monday, retrieve it and give it to Airborne on Wednesday, you receive our report on Thursday (next-day service) or Friday (standard service). Our standard nationwide service uses Airborne overnight delivery, either inexpensive Second Day Service (SDS) or Next Afternoon Service (NAS) at slightly higher prices. SDS often arrives next day, but is not guaranteed. The surcharge for NAS service is usually about one dollar. It is possible to save money by using SDS service most of the time, and to use use NAS service whenever next-day reporting is important.
Pricing depends on your annual volume. For eastern states, your price may be as low as $11 per test kit.
Certain home inspection franchisees and all ASHI members and candidates are entitled to our lowest pices, regardless of their annual sales volume. Please call us at 1-800-325-3579 or email us for details of our Airborne service with prices for your state. We offer a special introductory price to new dealers:
Special Introductory Offer
- If you use two canisters per job, we will send you 4 canisters with 2 prepaid Airborne mailers for only $30.
- If you use one canister per job, we will send you 2 canisters with 2 prepaid Airborne mailers for $20.
These prices include outbound shipping charges to you, inbound Airborne charges to return the canisters to us for analysis, and faxed or phoned and mailed reports. Our two-day minimum exposure time allows you to provide super-fast service to your clients. This can be a big selling point in the context of time pressure in a real estate closing. Email or call us at 1-800-325-3579 for more details or for sample test kits.
